Bandit the bull was chained up his entire life, never having the opportunity to taste freedom and independence.
After being imprisoned for many years, everything was finally going to change.
Christian, a sanctuary worker, devoted his life to saving animals and showing them love and compassion. When he discovered Bandit’s story, he was resolute in setting him free.
He was aware that numerous bulls were living the life of Bandit, yet he was determined to make a difference for each individual animal.
Upon seeing Bandit for the first time, Christian approached him cautiously to reassure the bull that he meant no harm. By gently patting Bandit on the head, Christian worked to earn his trust, eventually achieving his goal.
After Christian removed the shackles from Bandit’s feet, the animal couldn’t contain his joy. He performed a touching ‘dance of freedom’ that melted our hearts to see him experience that liberating feeling for the first time ever.
We are optimistic that other animals in chains will soon receive the same treatment as Bandit.
