Jewel captivated attendees at the VIP preview of her new exhibit, “The Portal: An Art Experience by Jewel,” in Arkansas. The artist turned heads in a breathtaking sculptured silver ensemble by Iris van Herpen, epitomizing a fusion of art and fashion.
Jewel’s choice of attire, the Ananda-kosha number, featured intricate sculpted detailing with a silver overlay on a nude slip, which directed all attention to the shimmering metallic elements.
She complemented the statement dress with simple accessories: silver open-toed platform heels, no jewelry, and minimal makeup highlighted with metallic eyeshadow. Her low bun hairstyle, with wavy strands, mirrored the gown’s artistic shapes and completed her look.
At the event, which she posted about on Instagram, Jewel discussed her painting “Double Helix,” saying it was inspired by her son, Kase Townes Murray, and motherhood. “I think mothering is often praised but not given a lot of space and time to really honoring it. So this is my way of honoring my journey as a mother,” she said.
